The best part was meeting new people who are into trains just like me and of course the view fro the observation car especially through the Canadian Rockies in Alberta. I was lucky enough to share the journey with the band OrchardMusic who played live. You see them at 3:35 Check out the details regarding the band here: http://theorchardmusic.com

In this video, we explore the TCAT on Vancouver Island. The trip took place during the first 2 weekends in April, 2016. The TCAT uses mainly logging roads with a bit of main highway travel. We used 2 BMW motorcycles, an F650GS and an F800GS. GPS tracks are available from www.graveltravel.ca. They also contain fuel stops and campgrounds. Rec sites and campgrounds may be closed early in the season, so have a back-up location planned. Feel free to send a message with any questions.

Vancouver lacks facilities that transgendered individuals can feel safe and comfortable using. Park Board Commissioner Trevor Loke says if a motion -- created by feedback from transgendered individuals - is approved by Park Board, a designated group will find ways to make public spaces as well as community programs more inclusive towards the transgendered community.

Tru Wilson – one of this year’s Vancouver Pride Parade Grand Marshals – shares her story of coming out as transgender at a young age. Wilson was named one of Vancouver’s 50 most powerful and influential people by Vancouver Magazine after she and her family took a stance on accepting trans individuals at her Catholic school in Ladner. The Wilson’s stance pushed the Catholic School Board to become one of the first in North America to develop a policy supporting gender expression in 2014. Wilson continues to fight for gender advocacy and to share her story so that she can educate and inspire others and show support for members of society who feel excluded – for any reason. Vancouver’s Pride Parade is Sunday Aug. 6 at 12:00 pm in the West End. Subscribe to OhMore TV for a new video ever...
What differentiates our laser eye surgery from PRK & Lasik corrections in Vancouver? - Complete no touch - Trans PRK is an innovative further development of the conventional surface treatments, LASEK, Epi-Lasik, and PRK - The epithelium is ablated using SCHWIND AMARIS technology. - No instruments touch the eye, and the epithelium can be removed more precisely, evenly and simply than with manual or alcohol-assisted debridement. - The single-step process combines the ablation of the epithelium and the actual refractive laser treatment. - The overall treatment time with this technique is considerably shorter than any other treatment. - TransPRK speeds up the healing process in regular corneas, thus a faster recovery. Visual acuity is also restored more quickly. Most patients are able to...
http://www.bielousov.com/trans-canada/ This motion timelapse is shot with two GoPro cameras while driving 7 days through Canada from Toronto to Vancouver. Every 10 seconds we did 1 shot and once every 2 seconds while passing Banff and Yoho National Parks. 50,000 still images (100GB) were then joined in half an hour video. Key moments and processing described here http://www.bielousov.com/2012/driving-from-toronto-to-vancouver-timelapse-video/ Photos and stories from the trip can be found here: http://www.bielousov.com/trans-canada/ Music: Hans Zimmer

WESTCOAS EXPRESS, SALIENDO DE WATERFROM, VANCOUVER,
I have ridden Amtrak's long distance trains several times, and I have previously put together two videos on what to expect when traveling in 'sleeper' class (first class) on the western route "Superliner" trains. Recently I took a similar trip across Canada on ViaRail's famous transcontinental train called the "Canadian", from Toronto to Vancouver. This video shows what to expect in a sleeper car on this trip, as well as presenting the trip and its sights. My trip took place in the four days immediately following Labor Day in May of 2014. The westbound train starts at 10 PM in Toronto, then continues over the next three full days and part of the morning on the fourth day, so the trip includes five consecutive dates, and occupies about 3-1/2 days (going by hours of travel). I forgot to men...
